We sell full depth nucleus hives with each containing one frame with food, two brood frames with brood at differing stages and the fourth frame in the process of being drawn out, perhaps with some eggs/brood/nectar to allow the bees some space while travelling and while they are waiting to be transferred to their new hive.
The sale of nucleus (NUCs) is subject to seasonal availability. For expressions of interest for the 2024/25 SPRING season please contact us as there is limited supply. Please let us know the preferred date of delivery, the quantity, the delivery option (more on this below). Note that bee keeping is a form of agriculture and is subject to the whims of Mother Nature and therefore the delivery date could be affected.
Our NUCs are breed from selected hives that have demonstrated both gentleness and productiveness and have a mated new season queen, tested for excellent laying.
