Born and bred in Western Australia, Mark has always held an agricultural interest.

Whilst living in Queensland Mark took up beekeeping as a hobby, which over time grew into part time business with approximately 100 hives.

When returning to Western Australia no hives and equipment could be brought over to WA due to quarantine regulations so a new apiary was started from scratch.

Based on past experience, we are now suplementing our traditional wooden hives with thermally efficient high density polystyrene. The 'Poly' hives are particularly suited to the extremes of hot and cold - reducing stress on the bees.

In addition, with a career background in administration and technology, trails have been carried out using Internet of Things to better monitor bee hives with great success.  Parameters such as weight, internal temperature and humidity and the external environment are used to assist hive management in a timely and cost effective manner.

We’ve known Mark from Bare Honey for a quite a while now and always enjoy his raw honey, as do our clients.

It's taste and aroma is exceptional.  In fact, one client, from the other side of Brisbane, loved Bare Honey so much they ordered additional supplies by post!

We’ve also found stocking Bare Honey at our business has helped increase walk-in foot traffic which is a bonus we didn’t anticipate.

We love BARE HONEY….and so do our clients!

The therapeutic benefits of PURE honey are well known and to find some LOCAL NATURAL and REAL honey is fantastic.

To top it off, we have known Mark personally, and what he stands for, for over 15 years.

THANK YOU MARK and your wonderful bees for supplying such a treat for our health and the environment!
